Work Experience

GT3s - 24 Hours of Spa

2seas Motorsport

I was given the opportunity by 2 Seas Motorsport to come with them as a Support Race Technician for the Spa 24 Hours. The week was a thrilling insight to learning more about the GT world and getting hands on with this car on many aspects.

Some of the work I was tasked throughout the week included helping with the patching, other tasks such as the removal of bodywork, vinyling and helping prepare the car ahead of the race. My duties in the pitstops were fire extinguisher, but during our technical stop I was cleaning all number boards and windows to help driver visability.

JHR Developments

I spent the first quarter of 2025 working with JHR Developments as a Number 2 Race Mechanic. I did a few days at the workshop with the team and a number of tests including round 1 of the British F4 championship at Donnington Park.

My duties throughout my time there primarily included defueling and refuelling the car, sorting tyre sets and their pressures. I also helped with anything else that could be done. My duties during sessions was both front and rear jackman but also spent my time using pit boards to communicate with drivers.

Napa Racing

I was given the opportunity to spend a race weekend with Napa Racing where I experienced my first trackside experience. This was a memorable time and I learnt a lot about how these closed wheel race cars worked and getting to be hands on with them throughout the weekend was thrilling.

I spent a lot of the weekend polishing the car before sessions, while also helping with patching the car or anything else that was listed. The time I spent with the team I learnt a lot of values which I still use today in Motorsport about my approach to working with new teams.

Formula 1 - Aston Martin F1

I spent time with Aston Martin Formula 1 inside their factory being allowed to work with the team on their Build & Car assembly department.

I had exposure to a lot of different areas in the department, from vinyling the car to stripping and rebuilding parts. I also had the chance to help prepare the spare chassis ready to be used ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.
